JB Kish doing a cowboy rope trick

Hey, I'm J.B.

John/He/Him

I help my clients do this.

If you've ever been scrolling through social media and watched someone experience the joy of unboxing their first book---that's what I help my clients do. Together, we can hit this milestone.

About me

I was raised in Tucson, Arizona, which is where I learned a cowboy rope trick or two. It's also where my passion for writing began. In high school, I worked on my school's newspaper, and in college, I hosted a poetry slam that twice competed in the national poetry slam competition. In 2012, my wife and I moved to Oregon, and I started work as a project manager in the tech industry. After years of struggling to achieve my creative goals, I began applying my project management skills to my writing, and that's when everything changed.

Today, I have written five novels, self-published two, and had numerous short stories published in various magazines. I am also the co-chair of the Oregon Horror Writers Association. I have a passion for working with people and, through my writing and professional work, have taught numerous workshops on project roadmapping, confidence, and public speaking. My journey reflects the power of blending creativity with organizational skills, inspiring others to achieve their creative aspirations.
